Interesting fact: Stonewall Inn was opened and run by the Genovese Crime Family. Being the Mafia, they would get advanced notice of raids until one time they didnt which led to the Stonewall Riots, which gave alot of freedoms to the LGBT people.
Alot of LGBT people like to compare these riots to the ones that are happening now. However, there are big differences in the context of the 2 groups and also there was no looting back then during the Stonewall riots.

Again for the 10th time, Stonewall was different for numerous reasons. It wasn't about city to city looting and destroying the community. Gays were not being able to congregate in bars and had to obey archaic laws where they weren't allowed to dress up in drag and had to be checked by officers in the bathroom to confirm their sex.
How on Earth do you conflate the two?
