When the cops issue a command you follow that command or risk getting shot,beaten or arrested.
Once he goes into that vehicle he's fucked.
The cop couldn't see his hands and once they can't see your hands they are going to shoot you.

I agree that they should have stopped him when they had the chance but they didn't so it 's on him for not obeying the command issued by a police officer
Problem with tackling the guy is they escalate the situation quickly once it gets physical and they are fearful of losing their jobs over being too physical with people
