No, what is gay is that it was owned/sold by Vegas Dave.
Wow... Vegas Dave really owned that?
Shows how much money there is in being a tout scammer.
Anyway, I have a friend who is in the memorabilia business, and he's basically liquidating a lot of long-held assets right now, because he said they're going for much higher than they ever have, due to sudden sports nostalgia which appeared after the sports shutdown.
" wtf is -80% ROI?"
to me it means dealers can go through the packs and are able to locate the good cards or inserts.
things have changed throughout the years but you can still bet on the prevalence of many scumbags in the industry that are up on all the angles. not to mention the card grading companies who are completely corrupt
Even if it's autographed and a rookie card, how can a current player's card be worth $900K?
I don't know much about this market but that is mind-boggling.
How much is the famous Honus Wagner card worth right now then?

Honestly, Mike Trout's signature looks fake as hell.
Apparently, Mike Trout signed every rookie baseball with the same blue pen. Since this Mike Trout rookie card sold for $900K, someone should offer Mike Trout $1 million to sign ten more cards.
Vegas Dave likes fake baseball cards, fake money and fake women.
I thought cards took a shit in the 90s and weren’t worth anything anymore. Wtf?
they # them now. if a player gets hot, their cards can go up 5-10x. pick the right prospect and u can get rich. I bought a bunch of Joel Embiid cards before he played an NBA game because they were on the cheap thinking he would be the next Greg Oden and never play, later sold them for 10x what I paid. if I waited longer, coulda been 20x
