As for a Mitchell video this is pretty unremarkable. He goes with Barry and plays 4 shoes and they say they make about $500 a shoe. The part at 14:24 all of a sudden Lucy is with them on the elevated walkway from the Bellagio to the Cosmo. Did they meet by accident? Lucy seems to like to play at the Cosmo so that’s a possibility. Unfortunately, I believe he has been fleecing Lucy for a while and he was able to do some damage control.

Lucy is not shown in this video for more than those few seconds and while she was in the thumbnail for the video that makes me think he knew he needed to do some damage control and this was the best she would offer. He says all 3 are going to the Venetian but it’s pretty clear she did not go with them.

The Cosmo is my favorite Casino to stay at it and the Bellagio was my favorite to play at. CM calling the Bellagio his second home means I am bumping the Bellagio off my favorite casino to gamble in.

It would be so helpful to really get the actual story of what went down on that Day 8 video. It’s great that he didn’t have the impulse control to not put that incredible transition that makes it clear that some really crazy shit went down. Lucy seems to still be at least somewhat in the cult of CM. Would be great to get some information from Gary. Gary if you ever find this thread I do hope you reach out with your story. Hopefully KD has some bloodhounds on the case. I suspect he does.

I thought Gary could of been a plant/security for Mitchell and something is a bit off about his day with Barry today as well. What’s clear is CM has been working over Lucy for a long time. She may have already forgiven him for whatever went down that night.

I think my reputation and credibility speaks for itself. She said to my friend, in so many words that she lost Multiple 5K buy ins following CM that added up to nearly 15K. My friend is a real high roller and wasn't there to bother her or be a reporter. He's a money maker thus has his mind on only 1 thing. The fact he saw her, approached her and got that much info from her is enough for me. Lucy is a very lonely old woman & probably considers a true real life piece of shit scumbag like CM a friend cause she doesn't have many.

The thing I hate the most about online play is the software moves all the higher stacks to same tables instead of waIting for the tables to break organically. Doesn't allow them to beat up on the short stacks which is huge Advantage in tournies

Wait, it does that? Are you sure? I've never heard of WSOP.com doing that, but I've never played tournaments on there. Are you sure it isn't just randomly moving people and it happened to fall that way? It's hard to believe they would try to make that happen. Though I guess it's possible they could table-balance with some priority placed upon evening out overall chips per table (which they shouldn't do -- it should be random.)

Anyway, regarding CM, you are likely correct about Lucy. Old people are good marks for scams for a few reasons:

1) Many of them have experienced some mental decline (even the ones who don't seem senile), so they can't think critically as well.

2) Many are concerned about their inability to make money once not working anymore, and thus are more susceptible to get-rich-quick schemes.

3) Many are lonely and are desperate for friends. Scammers can target them by feigning friendship and/or caring about them.

4) Many are stubborn and refuse to admit they're being tricked/scammed, even if younger relatives or friends try to interfere and stop it.


There's a decent chance CM called Lucy and convinced her that she just had incredibly bad luck, and that if she sticks with his winning strategy, she will get it all back. It's very possible that he talked her into making an appearance because of the criticism in Kevin's video and on this site -- to where he felt he needed to produce her giving him a thumbs up in order to counter that.

Seniors have often been fleeced of their entire lie savings in romance scams, where they are tricked on the internet into believing that a much younger, attractive person is in love with them. The scammers use pics of porn stars in their 20s to target the men, and good looking military guys in their 30s and 40s to target the women. They're tricked into believing they're in a very fast-moving online relationship, and then are asked to send money to help with a variety of fabricated emergencies.

That's not what's happening here, obviously, but it's an example of how seniors can sometimes completely suspend disbelief and hand all of their $ to con artists.

Places like Bovada, Betonline and ACR has the table balancing bullshit, that balances out stacks and higher ones end up on same tables throughout tournament. Obviously they do it to balance out the competition and induce more equal play. However, its complete horse shit cause it takes a players advantage away by seeing more hands against lower stacks on their tables like normal tournaments and table breaks. If that's the case, you wont see me and many others like yourself sitting out this year

Looking at the numbers I think it safer for me to go play in a hotel room in Atlantic City than in Vegas. Looks like they will probably not reopen July 1 for the start of the online WSOP but hopefully by the 7th. I will probably play a few if I feel safe enough. The numbers are contained as of now in the Northeast and rising basically everywhere else. This would be my advice to anyone that lives closer to NJ than NV concerned with COVID but still wants to play. For me it’s just a few hours drive and I was going to go to AC regardless so I guess I have it easy compared to others. If you have status with Caesars you can call and book either Harrahs or Caesars with Harrahs being the cheaper option similar to LV. Borgata is MGM but they are really stand alone. Your Vegas play/status will not help you much with rates.
