I’m trying to piece the story together...

In March 2015, Travis was driving his OWN vehicle when traffic came to a stop and he hit a vehicle from behind - Killing THREE people. Now, one person was laying down (in the vehicle he hit) in the backseat, presumably with no seat belt.
A grand Jury chose not to indict him on anything serious. He did end up paying a fine (infraction).

Sometime around the same time of this incident he pointed his gun at passing motorist. I’m going to assume he was on duty during this stunt. He was indicted for this, however it doesn’t say the outcome of the court case.

Fast forward about a year to 2016 and Travis resigns from the police department. It doesn’t say why. It’s possible that an agreement was reached in his gun pointing case that if he were to resign they would drop all charges.

As far as slamming into the rear of a a stopped vehicle, I think we have all slammed on our beaks to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of us at one time or another. A split second, or a few feet can be life and death. Legally responsible? Yes. Should he do jail time? No.
The gun pulling incident is a Different story. WTF was he thinking?

To be honest I’m surprised he got indicted on the gun pointing incident, primary due to witness testimony. If I had to guess, I think he admitted when questioned that he did point a gun at the family of motorist while driving.

If he was smart, he would have denied it since there were only the witnesses in the vehicle. Doesn’t appear to be any other unbiased witnesses or video of the incident. He could have claimed the incident happened exactly as they told the story, but instead of it being a gun, tell investigators, it was his cell phone, as if he was pointing it at them to call the police and they confused it for a handgun. I bet if he said that he wouldn't of been indicted. Thankfully he isn’t that bright and he did get indicted. At the very least a cop is off the road that should not be a police officer - let alone an investigator. Also not very bright since he is hanging with bitch tits.

Also, it says Travis pulled onto the side of the freeway behind the vehicle after he pointed his gun and sat behind them for about a minute. He could of said if he was angry enough to pull a gun, he would have got out of his vehicle and confronted them. After he sat there for a minute, he went off the shoulder of the freeway and went threw grass to take the next exit. I think when he sat behind them he definitely got their license plate and was likely going to “get them” when on duty in a patrol vehicle as he could do much more damage. Thankfully they likely called the police right then and the cock sucker was put on administrative leave.

I was using harass very liberally, like posting them in this thread, but I will disagree with this. People are risk averse and if you're too much of a hassle to deal with they'll avoid you, even if it's not your fault. And some blackmarks can never be washed off, there's always doubt given previous behavior.
