I agree with Druff in that the overwhelming majority of people know they can’t beat these games long term. For a NON-AP, any money that is lost gambling should be looked at as the “Cost of Entertainment”. Anything more than that and the gambler may have a gambling problem.
Chrissy got lucky early on from dumb luck. He was not/is not an AP and he knew very little about gambling, I actually believed this HELPED him more than it hurt him. I say this because if he had more knowledge about gambling he would have known how ridiculously stupid his claims were and how he sounded. Stuff your normal gambler would not fall for. Things such as “winning everyday”, when we know the best gamblers in the world hit less than 60% of sessions under most circumstances. Even as ridiculous as Chrissy is, I think if he knew better, I think he would have made his claims more reasonable. These ridiculous claims are what sucked in the bottom of the barrel- most gullible members of society vs. the casual middle class gambler he was shooting for. He thought he would get everyday gamblers, but they all saw past the bullshit. I believe the outrageousness of the claims is what partially made it work - just not how he intended. He likely didn’t mean to attract low IQ individuals, but this is what outrageous unattainable claims bring in.
He barley skimmed the bottom layer of society, but if he was any smarter he would have missed it all together. He can thank his scamming Gods for that one.
I have said this before but I think it’s worth saying again. YouTube really taught CM the “Power of Numbers”. Prior to this he had to make 1 MLM pitch to one family, inside someone’s home. Then do this over and over again. He finally realized he can make that one pitch, film it and then put it on YouTube and reach thousands. Even if he gets 1 out of 1,000 it works in the grand scheme of things. But yeah, a lot of dumb luck combined with MLM is what made his scam work.

In California card rooms they usually don’t take a “vig” on Banker wins, or on any win for that matter in the game of Baccarat. The “edge” to the game is worked into the game whenever the Bankers hand has winning 3 card 7. So if you bet Banker and “win” on that particular sequence of cards you will “push” where you would normally win. This way is a fraction of a percent better over commission bac, but not by much.
Chrissy laughs at employer provided health benefits, it’s my guess one of the following are true:
A) He Doesn’t have health benefits for him and the family
B) He has health insurance provided completely by the government. Likely lies about his income to qualify.
C) He has a health plan that is heavily subsidized by the government to where he may pay at the most 20% of the cost.
D) Stacy claims she is estranged from Chrissy and collects benefits for her and Bubs or just Bubs.
I can almost guarantee he is not paying for a health plan out of pocket with no help.
