Just watched some of his last video.

In reality if he showed us 30 days straight of winning sessions, as had already been mentioned they would be cherry picked to show only winning sessions, if he lost, he simply won’t show it. In a game like roulette where the house edge is relatively high, if he were to actually show us 30 winning sessions the odds say he would have to film around 75 sessions (30 wins, 45 losses).
If he were to make it past that first week, he would actually have to continue winning, which is unlikely or deposit the amount of money where he previously left off the day before. Since he is a degenerate gambler he will run his balance down to zero off camera. As the days go on the amount he will have to deposit gets higher and higher. The dead broke Mitchells don’t have that kind of money to deposit. As RMS said, we will hear some bullshit reason why he is starting over with just $100.

Yeah honestly Chrissy isn't very good at what he does.
He manages to scam some clueless foreigners and old people. He manages to hoodwink some gullible Christians who incorrectly believe he's one of them, and therefore can be trusted.
But his whole routine is too obvious, inconsistent, and transparent to fool most people. The average person is going to watch it and laugh, even if they don't have a lot of knowledge about gambling.
He's a very poor man's Vegas Dave.
Chrissy will always be small time. He's not smart or talented enough to run a massively successful scam. Ironically, Chrissy's scamming mediocrity has kept him out of prison. He can never quite rise to the level to where authorities are interested in him. He'd love to rise to that level, but he never gets there, because he sucks at what he does. He is also too dumb to even realize that he's selling bad systems, and believes a lot of his own lies. That's another big flaw in his plan.
Stacy is a curious figure in this whole thing because she got a nursing degree, so she couldn't be dumb. But it seems she was gullible enough to fall for Chrissy's snakeoil sales routine -- enough to uproot her entire life and leave her family to be with him. Sure, at this point she's committed due to having the kid with him, but what allowed her to fall for this in the first place? I think she was so unhappy in her previous marriage that she talked herself into believing the bullshit Chrissy was spewing. I'm sure she's hating life at this point, regardless of what we see on video. But maybe she's bamboozled enough to believe that riches are right around the corner, and she's happy not having to work (since nursing is hard, especially these days).

I think Chrissy was able to convince Stacy to move to Vegas based entirely on the results of the first PDF scam. From the evidence we have, he did very well in just a few months with this. I believe “Bottoms” convinced her that the gig would be much more lucrative if they were in Vegas. It is also possible that Bottoms sold it as a short term move with the intent to make and save a good chunk of money, then return to Ohio.
I think it’s possible that at this point Stacy was on the fence if she believed this was legit or not. No doubt after the move she realized it was a full blown scam that she became complicit in. In all fairness to her not being a gambler, the martingale can be very convincing. Especially if Chrissy was working with 30-40k at some point. Being able to make $500-1000k daily from martingale could become very convincing, not realizing it all can be gone in the blink of an eye, which is what eventually happened.
