Clearly Chrissy hit upon some real tough times circa 2010, which is why he made his triumphant return to the industry at age 31, and signed that exclusive deal with Colt Studios. It was likely shortly after that when he got into MLM and all of the scamming started.
We only know about him because he also developed a gambling addiction, and at one point he had a hot streak, so he imagined that he had a "system" which was working. Then he thought maybe he'd sell these "strategies" to make some extra bucks on the side, and quickly it morphed into yet another Chrissy scam when he started losing and decided to keep lying and claiming he was continuing to crush the casinos.

No way Chrissy really donated $10k to that charity.
It's one of the following:
1) Donation was photoshopped to look much larger than it was.
-or-
2) Given that he knows the people behind the charity, they agreed to let him pretend to have made the $10k donation for publicity purposes, and in reality only collected a small donation from him. For example, it would be like me accepting a $100 donation from a member here in exchange for posting that they donated $10,000 to the site (though I'd never do this).

3) Chrissy entered bullshit credit card information, which the donation system might not check until later. Note that since this is a donation, there is no need to urgently validate the payment.

4) This is some kind of money laundering or tax dodge scheme, where the charity gives him back money on the DL. Again, he knows the operators of the charity.
I guess we can check #3 by just going on there, attempting to donate $1, and intentionally morphing your own CC info to see if it fails. But that still wouldn't prove Chrissy did that -- only that it's possible.
I think #1 is most likely, but any of these are legit possibilities.
