Yes, if Chrissy paired his heavy favorite with a team that has a positive payout it would pay more than a single straight bet. But in that situation, you would make 2 separate straight bets for a higher payout. Ultimately, anytime you bet to where one team will win and one lose, regardless of the outcome you are paying unnecessary juice. I can’t think of a situation where it makes sense to bet both sides of the line when the point spread is the same on both sides.


Another thing is he picked a game that just happened to have only 10% in juice (-102 and -108) vs. the typical -110 and -110. So for whatever reason the book lowered the juice to get more action.

- if any of those games involving the heavy favorites gets rained out you are guaranteed to lose money because neither the White Sox nor Twins will pay you even money on what would then be a straight bet.

Bottom line…if two of the heavy favorites lose you’ve got a losing day. If only one heavy favorite loses you’re either breaking even or maybe profiting a tiny bit

The reality of the whole thing is that since you’re donating $50 back to the house the White Sox/Twins game really isn’t doing anything for you. You’re basically winding up with the same potential gain (actually it will be a few dollars less) on your two $50 bets as compared to if you had just made a $100 straight bet on the heavy favorite. But of course our first grade math genius doesn’t see this. It would be a couple of dollars difference because both the teams are slightly in the minus…but it’s essentially the same bet…and you’re relying on the same team to win.

It really surprises me that Chrissy gets as many views as he does. I follow a couple really good channels that are not gambling related and they struggle to grow and get even a modest amount of views. Some of these channels will have less than a 2% dislike ratio. It will be something like 300 likes to 5 dislikes. Chrissy on the other hand - his likes to dislikes are very close, some videos dislikes exceeding likes. It’s been awhile since they have been unhidden but I’m sure not much has changed. The only thing that I can think of is he is in a category that has heavily searched key words such as “Baccarat” and “Roulette”. Theses key words are also worldwide, where other channels cater to just the English language. Many English gambling words are known by Asian players, even printed in English at the casino/on the table. I know many of these people watch his videos for a good laugh, as do all of us here. He gets dumber by the day. I also know besides like/dislike ratio the “watch time” is significant in its placement on the list. It’s possible he has a high watch time per video. I just find the entire thing interesting.

I can type in the word “Roulette”, and the 1st Chrissy video I see is over 40 videos down the list, and I actually watch some of his videos so it seems the algorithm would place them higher up. I’m curious how new people are finding him. Unless they are sitting for hours watching gambling videos and eventually get to one of his.

Chrissy, just get a job already. If these videos are any indication you’re working more than you would at a job anyway….and could there be anything more boring than playing Roulette for hours on end?
