Thought it was interesting that El Scorcho himself removed 9 months of podcasts from his channel on YouTube. In the wake of Chrissy moving his videos to private, it seems relevant that Steve Stevens actually deleted such a huge number of videos. His are for sure deleted and not set to private. You can see in the playlist of podcasts that the videos have been “Removed by Uploader”.
It could be something as easy as the podcast being partially sponsored by BetUS (A shitty non-regulated book). However, the main sponsor for his podcast is always some shit offshore book. There can also be a reason much greater. I did a quick check of his Twitter & Instagram and there is no explanation.
Steve Stevens is entertaining for sure but 100% a sports betting tout scammer. I don’t think he’s as bad a guy as Chrissy, but he is selling shit on a stick. Maybe Spencer really did a number on him. In general, seeing scammers delete or shutdown YouTube channels (at least temporarily) seems to be a step in the right direction.
I would like to think that the many videos, radio segments, threads/discords, etc made by a plethora of people has helped put pressure on these guys. For a while it seemed like they were operating with impunity on Youtube, but we are starting to see guys run for cover.
It’s early and too small a sample size to declare that things have really changed. But there have been some positives signs for sure.
One last thing I wanted to mention is Steve is located in Las Vegas just like Chrissy. Now that things are opened up and people have been locked in watching much more content than before, you wonder if these guys are getting a lot more shit when they are spotted on the street than they were before. I personally don’t think Chrissy can go Vlog with his clown suit on in the popping areas without being heckled.
Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! Here’s to things getting back to normal!
