Who buys one ticket? I guy with no friends, because he’s burned everybody in his life. Nobody wants to buy one ticket. I’m a lifelong diehard Niner fan who had season tickets at Candlestick. I’d never consider going alone (unless it was free). I’m not going to the Super Bowl because it’s a ripoff. The NFC title game is another matter. You can get decent seats for around $600, although I didn’t go this year, I’ve been to 4 of them over the years.

Imagine being the Sap who pays 25K for a Nose bleed ticket and getting the "Hurr durr I said 3rd Row, but I Never said WHAT SECTION!??!" from Chrissy and everyone on FB mocking you for not asking to see a picture of the ticket BEFORE paying?

LOL, so he turned down the alleged MULTIPLE offers of 50k, in order to sell the ticket for 25k, makes perfect sense. He obviously never had any offers, and the ticket he does have is probably worth a lot less than 25k.

My take: He's actually got a 3rd row ticket comped by a host because he's such a massive whale. Highrolling no-bust blackjack & max-betting slot machines both come with monstrous house edges, so I actually could easily see a casino splurging on a ticket for a fraction of what he's lost to them, because he's such a valuable customer. So I think there are 2 possibilities for what happens next, first one is he sells the ticket and makes up some excuse for why he couldn't go. The second one, which I believe is the most likely, is that nobody buys the ticket, he goes to the superbowl with his 3rd row ticket and films himself inside while claiming to have a 1st row seat.

The fact that he went from "I'm definitely going" to seeking to sell the ticket might be out of desperation because of his devastating loss from 2 nights ago, where he admit before the game that he had a lot of money on the favorites.
