Totally incorrect. Your average fast food combo meal is generally $7 on average. You could get a bagged salad with dressing at your grocery store for 2.99. If the average fat guy ate a bagged salad for lunch every day for 2 weeks instead of a drive thru he would lose 5 lbs and save probably $40.
They sell 8 ounce salmon cuts at my grocer for an even $5. On the right day, they special NY Strips for $9.99 a pound. There are always specials in the produce department you can match your protein with.
I am not a fast food snob either. I get it once every couple weeks, usually Chick Fil A or McDonalds. But I never supersize anything, and also get a diet drink. Usually it's breakfast. I did stop for lunch the other day and actually ordered inside. a huge fat guy ordered before me, he got a salad and a Big Mac meal.
