"Phil Ivory" Twitter troll account is impersonating Viktor Blom, and people are falling for it

I'm not sure who is behind the Twitter character known as "Phil Ivory", but I suspect he is someone who either reads PFA or listens to the PFA show.

He's been trolling poker players on Twitter for awhile, and has really aggravated some people. He's somewhat made a name for himself, with some loving him and some hating him. In some ways he has some similarities to AsianSpa (RIP).

Anyway, he recently realized that the capital "I" on Twitter shows up the same as lower-case "l". So he decided to be Twitter handle @ViktorBIom and switched his account to that. Didn't even bother to make a new account. Just straight up switched to @ViktorBIom so he'd have existing followers.

Now he's posting content like this:

    https://twitter.com/#!/x/status/1247270092209041410

Enjoy it while it lasts. Many people are falling for it.

Note that it has over 700 likes, and it also has numerous retweets.

Well, maybe he saw my post, because he's already shutting down the dupe.

He's changed back to "Ivory Augustus" (as you'll see on the tweet embedded above, which previously said "Viktor Blom"), and has changed the profile pic to his usual one.

Bummer. He really had people going.

In case he deletes the tweet, here is the content of it:

I once saw Zig do a line out of a t-girls ass in Thailand while Antonio Esfendiari just kept saying "get in there doctor!" Over and over while on ecstasy

Whoever runs that account is terribly thin-skinned and takes himself far more seriously than anybody hiding behind a novelty account ever should.

BCR: Srsly. But you probably know that.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Turns out that, in this case, it wasn't at all about me.

I talked to him a little bit. I won't reveal a lot of what he said, but suffice to say that he doesn't listen to PFA or read this forum, but he was interested in it, and I gave him the URL. I thought he did for some reason, based on something he tweeted awhile ago. But I believe him. He seemed to be pretty honest with me when we DM'd.
