    HOF helicopter crash in L.A.

This reminded me of something that might be out of a future "Airplane" movie sequel or something of that nature.

A helicopter attempting to land while carrying a heart for a pending transplant patient, crashes on its side on the hospital helipad.

Firefighters rush to the scene and successfully rescue everyone; they then find the precious heart, still intact, and retrieve it from the helicopter.

A doctor, fully dressed in his blue scrubs, grabs the heart from the firefighters to rush it to its destination...

He then immediately trips and falls on his face while carrying it.

This had my sides splitting yesterday for some reason - and let me stress that it was only hilarious because nobody was injured and everything worked out in the end. And yes, the patient even got the heart successfully transplanted.

    Lighten up Francis

Apparently you didn't bother to actually read my synopsis or watch the video.

Nobody was seriously injured and patient ultimately got his heart and is doing just fine right now.

I wouldn't even think of making light of this situation if it ended up being anything worse.

Everyone is too uptight these days. Simmer down

Imagine getting a transplanted heart that first was in a helicopter crash and then was dropped on the floor on a Los Angeles roof.

RIP to whomever has that beating in their chest.

FYP. Here’s why: The part of the sentence following “to” is a dependent clause, and in that clause, the pronoun is the subject of the verb, which calls for the use of “whoever”.

If you had instead written that clause with the pronoun as the object of the verb, then “whomever” would have been appropriate. Here’s an example:

“RIP to whomever the doctors put that heart into.”

Check out these videos for more background.
