Look I’m bullish - but big difference between Being long at .60 or $2.75 when the stock is now trading with a 7 handle though. Even with bad news there is a shot I can get out semi unscathed..... not the same when you holding at $7.25.

It’s priced at roughly $4B right now with a share price of $7. This thing has been bought in large blocks around the clock for the past week. Id be genuinely surprised if we get bad news on this one anytime soon - but as you said biotech can turn on a dime. So like I said $4B company. Mondera went from a $7B company at ~$20 a share to 30B company at ~$90 a share on some half assed drug that there is major debate on if it works or not. There are some that say this may be the best CC5 blocker ever and early tests have been greatly positive. Like take some and come off the ventilator in 48 hours type stuff with no side effects. So the crazy kool aide take here is if we get an official trial with the same results and the FDA says move forward and you on the top of the list fast track and Trump gives this a mention as a life saving treatment for COVID dejour...... this could literaly go parabolic to $70 ($40B) a share.

That’s a stright up pie in the sky kool aide drinking Result and I’m not in any way calling for that..... but it’s not imposible either.

Or I could be begging by a dumpster when this goes pop.
I don't know why you're dismissing Moderna. Their vaccine has been showing promise and the US Gov't dumped them $500 million. Seems like a little more than a half-assed drug.

I read a few articles about the CYDY and it does sound like they have a few things on the go, not just Covid.

    • Coronavirus results to be reported in July. Anecdotal results are excellent.
    • HIV results are excellent. BLA has been applied for.
    • 12 ladies with triple negative breast cancer have seen their CTCs (circulating tumor cells) go to zero in 3 to 6 weeks with a once a week injection.
    • A basket cancer trial of 22 different cancers is in the works to test the hypothesis that metastasis can be stopped in cancers expressing CCR5 receptor.
    • Animal testing for multiple sclerosis was very favorable. NASH and GvH also being pursued. And a 400-patient trial of Alzheimer's is also in the works.

moderna's science may be viable but so far they have demonstrated conclusively that the people in charge are running multiple pump and dumps. also the US gov't gave a random on twitter 100m for ventilators and all the guy had to do to collect was literally register an LLC because trump.

im just saying, mrna shouldnt be put on any sort of pedestal until they bring something, anything at all, to the table.

Facebook advertising canceling seems to be snowballing. Just bought another put at 220, but lost an insane amount of profit would have had if I had just held onto the 229 put I made this morning and not instasold at 227.

Edit: Just sold again at 216.

My hat's off to you Daly. I'm up +$24k on this stock. Sold 2k shares this am just to reduce exposure a little but holding 5k. I may buy another 1k to hold over the weekend 20 minutes before the market closes.

I knew this stock would hit big once Verm dismissed it a couple of weeks ago in this thread. Badguy, where are you at with his Mush call?

For those of you who are interested in CYDY, which hit $7 in Germany overnight. The following is from a Wall Street trading desk.

Institutional Investing End of Day Summary: 6/25 Price $6.15 up 23.25% from yesterday's $4.99 close. Total Vol shot up to 18,492,895, 80% above yesterday's 10,512,451.

Institutional Block Trading Total Vol was 5,036,417 or 1.5 million more than yesterday. But the percent of institutional trading of the total volume was only 27.23%, about 6% less than yesterday's 33.12% and the average trade was smaller, though a solid number at 21,073 vs 24,692 yesterday. There were a couple of 6 figure trades during the day. The price pushed back up to $6.15 on 10-30k trades during the last 8 minutes of trading.

So, it looks to me that institutions are clearly still interested in accumulating prior to the trial result announcement next week but were kind of dragged along by retail investors with the same idea on a nice 23% price up day. The institutions paid up on the last two trades to the $6.15 ask price. They want the stock.

So, where are we? 1-2 trading days to the possible trial result announcement day. There is lots of conviction that the results will be very good, hence the big price move.

Accordingly, tomorrow I would expect more of what we saw today only more so as time is running out to accumulate before the result announcement. Yesterday, I speculated we might be up a dollar or more today. Got lucky and was on target.

Based on the huge jump in volume, I'll press my luck at say I would expect a $2 - 3 jump in share price to $8-9 given that positive news from the trial would reveal the first drug to effectively address worst aspect, death, of the worldwide Covid 19 pandemic, a pandemic that is accelerating and has no other effective.
As a corollary, maybe a SPY Call might be smart, with the assumption the market will jump based on positive news.

In other news, Gap spiked today announcing a deal with Kanye.

    10ish-> 14ish -> now back to 12ish.

Longer term could be a good pick to hold but right now I'm not touching retail until Covid part 2 finishes.

Read about how the mall property owners like Simon are buying the failing retailers that occupy their malls. This is a desperation move. Intriguing.

If I see an article I’ll post.

Another clothing retail tidbit was how if you try on an article of clothing it gets removed from inventory for 24 hours. This was one standard someone described. In the brutal, slim margin world of retail that has got to be death.

The coping strategies like eliminating middle seats on planes or leaving half your restaurant tables empty just present inefficiencies that are too great to overcome.

    I’m a ray of sunshine.

    Gap is just a trade.

    still awaiting those RSVPs fellas...

but on a "serious" note...san you don't know how happy all of this makes me...don't get me wrong I am extremely saddened that this is going to affect the wage workers of the casinos who bust their asses for these cunts...I really hope that they find some better job out there (yes wishful thinking in this post-corona economy)...but man to see these executives crash and burn...…….not much in this world that will make me happier...I hope to hear that my ex-boss is dumpster diving the south jersey streets...

Want to go down to AC to see the implosion. Do you know when they are gonna take that building down?

If there was sports I’d make a wager while I’m there. There might be a matching bonus out there that would pay for trip

Here’s a fun Ray Marino wager.

See if they run the close to shake out the new shorts. Kinda doubt it but I liked the price. Still have no sports wagers.

would be poetic for them to do it on November 9th or whatever the day after the election was if trump loses...

but I said this earlier, they better have a plan for the space because it's gonna make that 'skyline' look like absolute shit...
