I deposited some extra $$ in TD Ameritrade today, thinking of doing a longer term shorts. Was thinking of July 27th SPY 315 put, or something around there. I think it takes a day or 2 for money to clear for options, so knowing my luck the market will have a big drop while I am waiting for the $$ to clear.

I wonder how much of it is people who are just bored, who aren't spending recreational money like they are accustomed to (bars, casinos, sports) and are doing stocks instead, and as soon as they can get back to their normal lives they will lose interest in the market. I am guessing this is what will happen with myself.

also im guessing this time next year we are having or have had open congressional hearings on HFT dark pools, skimming/front running, and the role 'commissionless' brokerages have in that cycle.

heard 100% but imagine if online poker sites were like yeah we dont charge rake but we let our own players sit at your table and once every hundred hands against you we let them see your hole cards.

IMO Trudeau (Liberal) and Ford (Conservative, Ontario Premier) have both been good leaders through the pandemic. Although I guess it's easy in comparison when you look South.
