If you are a stock gambler —- the market wanted to rinse out the record number of shorts as measured Thurs night. The resulting short squeeze would launch prices and give the opportunity for those who are long to sell at a beautiful price. This was going to happen anyway but the errant report was an unexpected gift.
This is like target marketing. “How can we hurt the greatest number of people?” The theory of Max Pain. Well, we had a record number of ducks in the field and we were gifted an errant unemployment report. They all flew into the air and were shot with a Gatling gun.
That’s not Trump conspiracy theory. That’s not improved fundamentals or similar nonsense. That’s just trading. Again, I love conspiracy theory. Proof?
