Did a SPY 315 put dated July 8th. I imagine the market REALLY wants to correct off the absurd current valuation, so hopefully for me it does so by July 8th.

1) dont bet against broad market sentiment. dji was up what, 450 points this morning, which should have been enough to indicate that even if there was a FB dip, it would reverse fast (which is exactly what happened).
2) let indicators force you out of positions. opening bell puts were up like 41% before fb reversed and mooned at 9:55, but the writing was on the wall at 9:47 that all was not well. you could have skated there with a profit as well.

Well, my comment was more the general trend of FB stock completely recovering, despite pretty much all the news being negative. Definitely a head scratcher.
macro market trends tend to carry stocks more often than not.
jp morgan just said a biden win could be great for the market, also somehow debt has turned into an asset in terms of market health... roll that up with the fed being the fed, foreign markets surging, and yeah a melt up was in play.
per comments in https://www.stockamets.com/forum...rats/1149-amzn i absolutely do believe that if amzn dips below 3000 in the next few days, it will likely settle back to 2880-2800'ish.
and yeah i think fb gets its shit pushed in as well. watch for qqq to go red overnight. if it opens down like $2-$3, fb will probably drop 4% by brunch.

I remember the good old days when I had Tesla stock and was defending them against people ITT.
Sadly I took the profits and ran long ago, and was too scared to jump back in at 3xx when Corona hit.

How close do we get to July 31 before we short the market and margin to the hilt?
This is a relatively safe space as far as PFA is concerned.
I致e been biking a lot lately and I知 getting seriously addicted. Hours of the afternoon are squandered now.
My man parts hurt. I知 sure this has been addressed on the net but I知 afraid Google will report me to the Feds. Gonna have to solve this on my own.
honestly i feel like a moderately otm strangle on tsla before earnings with like a 9 day expiration is almost guaranteed to at worst break even. and at best you bag like 150% each way.

i kinda want to wait and see what PTON drops but i also dont want to wait years because they dont want to launch into 20% unemployment or whatever.

i bought an absolute shit one from amazon several years ago and it was borderline retarded because of one (1) critical design flaw. it sat so fucking low to the ground that i got more of a workout getting into/getting out of it than i did actually rowing. the hydrow sits a bit taller and has a ton of interesting bells/whistles. im quite confident that ill find a critical design flaw in it as well and never, ever use it but at least i made some sort of token gesture. albeit a $2200 one. before delivery.
