I've seen it happen to a very large family owned corporation that I happened
to be associated with. Inheritance taxes were the beginning of the end.
An investment based firm bought it out. Saved the day......
Not soon after it was sold for investor profit and left to die
No interest in the company and the thousands of dedicated employees
just a return on investment.
