Concerns that owners of apt buildings and condos will pass along fees to buyers.
zero doubt in my mind they will do that, AND implement an extraneous fee, somehow making apartments even more expensive in nyc.

A similar ban came in here in the UK last year (albeit the up-front fees were a lot less egregious)
Net result is that the brokers (here they're called letting agents) charge the landlords more, and then the landlord put the rent up to make up for it.
