I really believe something has changed here. I don't think it's just running better or playing with a clearer head, though I'm sure that also helps.
I think Phil studied his ass off during this time, specifically analyzing the hands he already played, and came up with a counter-strategy, perhaps with the help of friends. Good for him if he successfully accomplished this in such a short time.

Ok. I guess it’s better to view this as a coaching circle team battle. It’s a bet that you have better software and smarter friends than the guy you’re playing against. I miss the old days, even though that occurred then sporadically. The ghosting and friend part.
I miss the old days also, I never used a hud in my life and played as high as 200-400 LH on stars, The other day I was listening to a podcast and the guest was talking about playing 5/10 cent and every one uses a hud, lol
