several months ago i noticed new packaging on butterfinger. when i went and bought it and didn't taste the same. in fact is was pretty awful.

this was one of the best candy bars and they wrecked it..fast forward to today. i just bought one today and i was hoping that maybe just got a bad one last time but nope. same shit


so i google butterfinger new recipe and it turns out butterfinger was bought by ferrrro chocolates.


what kind of frikken idiot decided that changing the recipe was a good thing to do. this fucker should be fired immediately.....i will never buy another one

this also ruins carvel and the dq blizzard for me as well...well played jack off's, well played.


there also seems to be a internet consensus on how shitty the new recipe is.

for those that haven't tried the new version. it's really nothing like the old. it's almost like a new candy bar. i liken the new version to soda that is flat and lost it's carbonation. it just leaves you hanging and doesn't deliver on the craving.

Haven’t had a butterfinger in years, but I always remember thinking that it was by far the sloppiest candy bar. You open one up and before you know it the crunchy peanut contents are all over your crotch. Nevertheless, always enjoyed the taste, but for the love of god have some floss handy for that shit.

Don't get me started on candy bars, I could blind taste test my way to a championship. I travel a bit and can definitely taste the difference in bars from one country to another. Why, restrictions, guides, cost, general why not improve this and instead its worse.

All I know is I haven't craved a butterfinger since Bart wanted one.

i had the craving for one again and do not want to pay 5-10x as much for a 6/12 month expired nestle butterfinger. so i researched it and my crack staff of experts came to the conclusion that cadbury, canada makes a candy bar similar to the butterfinger

it's called crispy crunch. and i may have to pay an upcharge to get it from amazon
