#BREAKING: Kobe's daughter Gianna Maria was also on board the helicopter and died in the crash
Shows what you guys know, CMoney died a year ago from cancer.
I sent his family a basket and some money to help fund his kids schooling.
Druff is gonna deny it was weather related.
12:35 PM PT -- Kobe's daughter Gianna Maria Onore -- aka GiGi -- was also on board the helicopter and died in the crash ... reps for Kobe tell TMZ Sports. She was 13.
We're told they were on their way to the Mamba Academy for a basketball practice when the crash occurred. The Academy is in nearby Thousand Oaks.

They broke the story to begin with.
Reports say that Kobe had a basketball in his hands and had a choice to pass the ball and grab the controls or hold onto the ball.
I guess we know what he decided.
Given Kobe’s near godlike status amongst the Chinese, not a great start to the Lunar new year for the People’s Republic.
I guess he used to own his own helicopter at one time and fly it himself. This was probably just a charted chopper flight with someone else piloting. Sometimes helicopters don't fly well in bad weather. He was killed because the helicopter got caught in the fog by the coast.Kobe Bryant had long loved flying his own chopper.
The future NBA Hall of Famer used his own helicopter to get to Los Angeles Lakers home games during his playing days, and once used one to ferry teammate Steve Blake to a doctor’s appointment, according to a 2012 report by USA Today.
In a 2009 column by ESPN’s Rick Reilly, Bryant admitted that he liked to charter a chopper to travel the 49 miles from his home to the Staples Center, where the Lakers play.
