Why are excess deaths still so high?
https://unherd.com/2023/01/why-are-e...still-so-high/
Around the middle of last year, researchers in several countries started noticing something disturbing: despite the fall in Covid deaths everywhere, excess deaths (compared to the pre-pandemic five-year average) were actually rising. Even more worryingly, a disproportionate number of those excess deaths were occurring in young people. This was the opposite of what you would expect in the receding phase of a pandemic — one which had largely spared young people in the first place.
Some researchers sounded the alarm, but were largely ignored by governments, public health authorities and the mainstream media. It was a curious response from those who in the previous two and a half years had justified the complete upending of human societies on the basis of “preserving life”. Throughout the second half of 2022, however, excess deaths have continued to rise at faster rates, and have continued to do so in the first weeks of 2023, to the point that the problem has become impossible to ignore.
I don't know about impossible.. Seems to be deliberately ignored. I wonder why, oh yeah. LOL

BREAKING: President Joe Biden will end the national emergencies for addressing COVID-19 on May 11.
Fifteen days to flatten the curve, fellas.
Why are people still getting boosters?
Even left wing PBS is questioning it: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/hea...-19-subvariant
XBB 1.5, which is now more than 50% of cases in the US (and rising), evades the vaccine, and even evades natural immunity. There is no point to get a booster now, as the PBS article above begrudgingly admits, albeit in roundabout fashion.
The only possible natural immunity one might have would be if you had an Omicron BA.2 variant (or its offshoots), as XBB 1.5 derived partially from BA.2. More than half the cases of COVID at the early 2022 WSOP (when I got it) were BA.2.
At this point it really does seem like a grift by Pfizer to keep that sweet money faucet flowing. Even for the elderly, these boosters seem questionable, and for those under 65, they seem to be more risk than reward.
Team Retard Bros...
^^^ see post prior to this one
XBB 1.5 is a boss and it doesn't give a shit if you've had 5 shots or just had COVID a few months ago.
Seriously though, how bad did Pfizer fuck up this booster, deciding to skip BA.2 because it "is on the way out"?
All these smart people there and nobody thinks that a variant slipping out of prominence might still give birth to a new one which takes over.
The problem is that we have retards on one side arguing that the vax is killing everyone, and retards on the other who think the boosters and masks are the solution to zero covid, and nobody is talking about what matters.
Axios: The U.S. government issued more than $5 billion in "potentially fraudulent" pandemic-related loans, the federal watchdog overseeing coronavirus relief spending said Monday.
Follow the science, fellas.
One of them was to a convicted felon in Las Vegas who had just shot into a woman's home, because her son was a competing pimp.
He also likely committed 2 murders 19 days later, one being the guy whose mom's home he shot into.
After he served just 3 years for shooting into the woman's house, he got right out on parole, applied for a PPP loan, and was approved.
The fact that these were given out to felons on parole shows what a joke this entire program was.
Pfizer still has at least one customer on this forum.

We’ve all known our whole lives that the common cold causes myocarditis. Right? Right.
