Also, if the coronavirus reports are correct, I am not of the profile of someone who would die from it, and it would present as a flu and nothing else if I were to get it. It seems to be killing only the elderly and those who have existing major health issues (kind of similar to the typical flu).

But maybe China isn't being honest about its deadliness either.

It might not kill you, but it might very well kill someone who you give it to, in that potentially long two weeks where you have no symptoms but are still contagious.

The estimates seem to be that this thing is gonna have a 4 month run or so. I will definitely NOT be going to any casinos, especially Commerce, for the foreseeable future. Even without the whole Chinese angle, casinos (especially poker tables) are great environments for spreading contagious disease.

Yeah I've made the decision to quit Commerce until this gets under control. Not worth it.

I was actually at Commerce on Sunday night and it was dead, but people were attributing it to the city being depressed over Kobe. But maybe the coronavirus had something to do with that, too.

There's just such a heavy Chinese presence there, many of whom probably have relatives who travel from China to come stay with them. And then there's the poker chips which are perfect for carrying disease.

Macau is now off 80% or more year over year. Normally a very important period as it is the New Year and a popular travel time.
