I can look at everything with an independent mind, and decide for myself where each "side" is correct and incorrect.

The left was wrong on nearly everything, but they were correct on one big thing -- the vaccine. (However, it should be noted that their plans to distribute it based upon "racial equity" were lolbad, and not done anywhere else in the world.)

The data shows that all 3 shots of the vaccine were very useful, especially to those 45+. It is possible that we've hit the wall, however, and the fourth shot might be a waste of time and side-effect tolerance for most Americans.

I will wait a month before deciding what to do. Even if I do determine the 4th shot will help me, the best time to get it would be late April -- about a month before the WSOP begins, and about 2.5 months before it ends.

FYI despite the fact that I probably have relatively little Omicron protection at this point (booster was in mid-October), I still went to the Bike and played both a tournament and cash last week. I'm in the stage of "living with COVID being out there", and don't plan to hide from it anymore.

So, I'm in a similar state of mind. I'm 55, active and healthy, and had my Funky Cold Moderna booster in November. I specifically timed it 2 weeks before Thanksgiving as I was traveling to Atlanta and NYC at that time.

I have been reading articles questioning the value of the 4th shot, saying that there may be a diminishing return on multiple shots and the body may eventually not get any benefit from multiple shots as time goes on. When does the body reach this point? 4 shots, 5 shots, 6 shots?

I have also had multiple exposures to COVID and no positive test. Back in December my daughter was visiting me and she tested positive after being here for 4 days. She had a very mild case. We both took home tests. Hers was positive, mine negative. 5 days later, she again tested positive, mine was again negative. She did NOT have a booster. I did.

So, while I am eligible now for shot #4, I think I will wait. I have a lot of trips coming in the next couple of months (Greensboro, ATL, NYC, St. Barths, and Baha Mar) I will probably wait until May to get it, if not later.

These discussions about 4th shots are peculiar to me. I still haven't been convinced/tricked to take a 3rd shot. Cerveza Fria is a human marvel, running half marathons at 55 in times a 20 year old would be happy with and yet consideration being given to these shots as if you're at risk for a bad outcome and is if the 3rd and 4th shot are going to do much for you at all.
