They might have to do something like prove/fake something that it was created in a Chinese lab, and then declare it an act of war. Lots of things go out the window during war. You can commandeer business to produce shit for you and get away with a lot. More theoretical though, as it’s such horrible politics that it would need to be killing 50% rather than 1%.
My point is Daly said they can't dictate you take it and I'm saying they already do for kids all across the country for a wide variety of vaccines why would the covid vaccine be any different? I'm not for this btw, but I think it's false to say governments (probably at the state or local level) can't require it.
You live in one of 4 or 5 states that even require kids to be vaccinated. If your kid is attending Portland City High, you can opt out for religious or personal belief reasons. Same in Seattle.

You go to SC, with its current construction, they’re going to kick it back to the states. Some states like Connecticut are reversing theirs this year because Covid, but you do something federally, you’re essentially giving Trump or whomever 400 EV’s next election.

Businesses can, but at a nearly 50% mong population, you’re giving up a lot of business if you don’t own a Whole Foods.

United just required vaccination, and the other airlines were like fuck no.

It’s amazing hospitals just are, but that’s in CA, and I assume most are short staffed already in more red areas.

As Daly said, insurers making it so expensive to employ unvaccinated is really the main path.

Even if you’re a foreign country, with low virus numbers and high vaccination, you are giving up every American $ and Trump or whomever runs on embargo France or whomever next election.

It’s trickier than just doing it for everyone except employers in niche industries or local restaurants in LA and Manhattan.

speaking of which i think its entirely possible this shit is going to be going strong in the 2nd half of 2023 and if im right, trumps literally going to have to campaign on rescinding mask laws and socializing medical care.

which is so completely wild that im actually starting to wonder if biden's a genius.

I think the religious loophole is in alot of states, doesn't mean the vaccines aren't required. That requirement keeps alot of states at heard immunity even when some people opt out.

Back to my point, most states already have vaccine requirements thus they can make a requirement for the covid vaccine if they choose, it's within their power. It might not happen for this variant but if there's a future mutation that's far deadlier it will happen.

Congrats Nevada! You join the other 7 spreadneck states for worst in the country!

These eight states make up half of US Covid-19 hospitalizations, according to a CNN analysis of data from the US Department of Health and Human Services.

    • Alabama
    • Arkansas
    • Florida
    • Georgia
    • Louisiana
    • Mississippi
    • Nevada

Gee wilikers! It’s almost like it’s hot in these places and it’s the Pinnacle of when people are indoors.

Wonder if numbers will start to crash like they did in October of last year.

Most of those states are among the lowest vaccination rates. Probably just a coincidence.

They were also the ones who didn’t have shit in March/April last year when NY and the whole of New England were on Covid fire and the picked up significantly in July and August.

To give a balanced report they were also the ones that Told the blue states in the north to fuck right off in December when the rate dropped next to zero because nobody is inside when there was a huge uptick in the cold states.

We need to get the fuck over the red/blue state bullshit on this. Covid is the cold. Covid is the flu. It’s a very similar repository with much higher potential stakes. When regions are inside it’s going to be worse. This shit ain’t going away. Guess what - all these states will have huge improvement in 2 months and the northern states will be fucked again in 4-6 months. Count on it.

I don't care about red and blue states, I'm a republican for the record. The vaccine significantly reduces the chance of being seriously ill from covid, these states are among the lowest vaccinated in the country and have the highest hospitalizations. This isn't some in depth puzzle that needs to be solved. You're really gonna talk about the weather?

NY and NJ were the first to get the covid outbreak because that's where all the flights from Europe land, took awhile to spread to the other states.

Calling it the flu or the cold is complete nonsense. The common cold and flu don't put people in their 40s in the ICU. I agree it's not nearly as deadly as the left media likes to paint it but you going the exact opposite route, "covid is the cold", it's just as stupid and damaging.

    lolwut

Mask mandates have not been shown to work anywhere, and most medical care related to COVID is either covered by insurance or the government.

That's why, among all the COVID-related panic we're seeing, cost of care hasn't been mentioned very much. To the typical individual, it isn't a factor.

It's cute that sonatine still thinks masking is the solution to this, though.

The only valid statement above is that COVID might still be going strong in 2023. It might actually be going strong in 2033. At some point we are going to have to concede that it's going to be part of life like the flu (albeit worse), and learn to deal with it.

Still waiting for the left/media to admit they lied/exaggerated about COVID for selfish reasons, and give that mea culpa.

Otherwise nobody outside of the Democratic Party is going to believe them.

June 2020: "While we can understand why it's very sad that you can't attend your mom's outdoor funeral, please realize that we all need to make sacrifices in order to beat this disease. People simply can't get together like this, it's unsafe." A FEW DAYS LATER: "Look at those beautiful BLM protests of 60,000 people, shoulder to shoulder, all speaking out against police brutality against black people!"

June 2021: "Come on guys, why aren't you trusting us about the vaccine being safe and effective? We've always been honest and straight with you about COVID!"

    See the problem?

You can't be the Boy Who Cried Wolf and then bitch that people won't believe you when you're telling the truth.

The problem with your premise is that people did suspect that BLM protests would spread the virus (not as much as a bunch of people in a church or a classroom, mind you) and nobody said those would be safe. You claiming “the media” said things and then every Democrat in America jumped on that train doesn’t make it true.

Lollapalooza mandated either vaccine proof or a negative covid test to enter.

This is also a big part of the problem. You can’t even acknowledge that they would cover Sturgis differently if it was predominately black democrats.

There was literally nothing negative said about the BLM protests by the mainstream media, regarding COVID.

There were a few weak acknowledgments of, "Yes, there is probably some danger of COVID spreading here, but I see a lot of masks being worn, and it looks like people are trying to be responsible. Anyway, isn't this beautiful how many people are speaking out against police racism and brutality?"

I saw zero point zero reports on mainstream media chiding the protesters for going out and spreading COVID around.

Yet days before, I saw plenty of shaming of beachgoers, park-goers, and even those attending funerals. "We all have to make sacrifices!"

Negative COVID tests don't mean much. They have a 30% false negative rate, plus are often far worse than that in the early stages of the disease.

This is another left wing fallacy -- that we could've tested and traced our way out of this, had Trump just taken it seriously early enough!!!!11
