There's definitely some truth in what you're saying. But a leader that does the right thing and tries to make the case to the people to do the right thing, even if not everyone listens, is way better than a leader that encourages people to do the opposite, for his own political purposes, and promotes known bad information, and refuses to listen to science.

At what TIME did anyone not know the elderly were most at risk? Italy showed that weeks in advance As it devastated it’s elderly population. But that didn’t stop Cuomo from sending those elderly Covid Patients right back in to the nursing homes by the thousands.

The manner Cuomo has lead during this pandemic is just what I want out of a leader; smart, tough, thoughtful and organized. I’m not sure Trump is really capable of any of those things. Having said that, if we are talking about decisions that resulted in unnecessary deaths Coumo’s decision to send positive covids to nursing homes is by far the biggest mistake. 4 other governors made the same mistake while the other 45 governors did not. With all the dumb shit Trump has done through this pandemic I’m hard pressed to think of anything I can point to and say, that resulted in a significant number of unnecessary deaths and if Hilary Clinton was president she would have been able to save those lives.
