Per the checkpoint I was waved through earlier today on I-20, Texas is startin’ to git serious about travelers entering from Louisiana spreading COVID-19!
At westbound I-20 Exit 628, state troopers were flagging passenger vehicles entering from Louisiana to exit the highway.
On the far right, a line of cars at the top of the exit ramp waiting in line to be checked out.
On the overpass on the right, a large mobile unit for testing.
And per the highway message signs, all those traveling for personal reasons entering Texas on that route are being required to be in quarantine.
