Despite it being self-evident, it's clear this thing is way more contagious than any official organization originally claimed. It's also obvious the incubation period is either infinite or way longer than claimed.

Based on this, how is burning the bodies a good idea? Is the goal to pollute the atmosphere and make sure everyone gets it?

Also - shouldn't China be punished? They made it, they let it get out and now the suffering is innumerable.

Lastly, given how long it takes the FDA to sort out who is gonna be enriched from any medical advancements (i.e. umbilical cord stem cells will never be legal) - can we expect 30% DOW haircut and 3x BTC by the time the bureaucrats pick the pharmaceutical lottery winners?

I don't think it's unlikely given how obviously fucked up this is and how obvious the government/media is pretending otherwise and how fucking slow the medical regulatory environment crawls around.

JOLLY GOOD LUCK TO US ALL.

Hopefully. They've been wrong or lied about it all so far; they are going to be right on accident eventually.

Six of the workers have died, the government said on Friday. It was the first time officials have disclosed the number.

Nothing to see here, move along.

    Edit:
China reports 5,090 new coronavirus cases and 121 new deaths in the past 24 hours.

yeah the silver lining if you can call it that is a lot of those infections are going to be focused in places with super high population density and terrible sanitation.

The biggest problem with this seems to be how contagous it is. Not only does it transmit easier than expected but this can cause it to overflow the medical care system. I mean there are only so many ventilators to go around. Hospitals aren't stockpiling these things by the dozens or anything.

Coronavirus: Macau will give residents 2.2 billion patacas worth of vouchers to boost economy once outbreak is over

Each permanent resident will be given a card with a stored value of 3,000 patacas to boost consumption, Secretary for Economy and Finance Lei Wai-nong says

The casino hub is also setting up a production line in mainland China to address the shortage of masks
    That’s equal to $375 a Person

Macau casinos have provided full pay while the employees are home.

    Interesting.
