The more we learn about this virus, the more we're learning the risk of contracting it through the air (person to person) is very HIGH, and the risk of contracting it from surfaces is very LOW. This means getting food delivered is actually very low risk (if you have the delivery person leave it at your doorstep). You're not going to contract this thing by eating, or even having it on food packaging. In fact, let's say somebody coughs directly on your food and there's now Corona on your food. You actually won't get Coronavirus from eating that contaminated food. This is what every reliable source is saying. Your stomach acid will burn up the Coronavirus. If you get takeout, the riskiest part is any face to face interaction you have.

The main thing the US is focused on is "wash your hands", but that's minimally effective because people are not really getting this thing from surfaces. We should replace "wash your hands" with "cover your face". But the US is hesitant to do that because they're afraid people who wear masks will start engaging in riskier behavior, counteracting the effectiveness of the mask.

I spent a lot of time looking for N95 masks in the last few days.
Most were sold out and those that did have stock were asking stupid money. Like $15 per mask for a decent brand like 3M. 6 months ago I could buy 20 for about $30.
Bought some BFE 95% surgical grade masks in the end. 50 for $69 including delivery.
N95's don't appear to be much better anyway.

Yeah there is something called a fit test that you can use to see if an N95 actually working. I will probably QA a few of them just to get a sense of how well they are working/fitting. If they are junk then we'll sell them at Home Depot or just use them for daily activities. They are probably better than nothing at this point although not for use in an isolation situation. If they are good I will hook up some of my customers.
