They are going to distribute about 20 million doses by the end of the year.

Recall this is the vaccine which has REALLY specific, super-cold temperature requirements, and the vaccine doesn't work right if that gets violated. Am I the only one nervous that this will be mishandled, and tons of people will get a vaccine which was stored at the wrong temperature (or left out too long), and people will get COVID?

I really prefer the Moderna one.

It’s amazing to me how many people don’t seem to know anyone that works in a hospital thus think shit isn’t that bad. I’m reading texts, Facebook and Instagram posts from nurse friends in several states and the majority of them have never seen the hospitals as bad as they are right now. Two days ago, my friend that works in the ER showed up to work and had 15 people waiting for beds in the hospital because there currently weren’t any. Those are non Covid patients being impacted because Covid has put a stress on the hospital that they can’t handle. Hospital wide, they’re offering what is called “incentive pay” which is double pay for people to pickup shifts and the hospital is still struggling to produce the required staff.
