Sure some shitty workers get protected which is annoying as fuck. Nothing worse than working next to or partnered up with a lazy pice of shit that you gotta carry all day but overall unions protect workers and ensure fair wages and benefits.
Unions are far from perfect I agree but these large companies do not want unions for a reason. They make less money because they are forced to share more of the profits with workers vs putting it in 20 corporate assholes pockets.
The more money the average person makes the they more can spend. The more they can spend the better the economy runs.
Trickle down is a load of fucking bullshit. It doesn't trickle too far down
They also share it with the good workers. Money gets spread around and that is better for everyone besides the fat cats
Union decline lowers wages of nonunion workers
The overlooked reason why wages are stuck and inequality is growing

Wrong again ... your money has been being inflated away for a long long time. You are forced to either gamble (markets, metals, crypto, anything) or lose. Poor people don't understand this concept and are left with no way to save. That is what has increased inequality and will continue to do so. Point your anger at the FED ...
So you don't think the shitty paycheck the average blue collar worker brings home every week has something to do with why they are poor or close to poor?
How can someone possibly survive on $11 an hour in any decent sized town? Is the ceo really 3000 times smarter than the average guy?
The CEO just wants to pay as little as possible in labor so they can keep it for themselves.
Im not finance guy and dont know a lot about the fed so I 'can't really give you my opinion on that.
I know its a group of banks that lend the govt money and fuck everyone with interest rates. Thats pretty all i know about the fed.

You're as hopeless as druff but at least he's rich.
I have better shit to do. Gn
Hey Sah can you give us a new blog post to update us on how your online MTT poker career is going? Is your bankroll still around $3000? Your average buy-in still in the $10 range? Owned any libs in the chat box recently?
No it doesn't, where have you been the last 10 years? Hey, check the biggest consumable on the planet, gas. Even before the virus it was at 1970 levels. As wages go up prices go up proportionally. It's called life pal. I am starting to think you are poor because only a poor person talks about the price of bread. The rest of us (like me) just put it in the cart and mosey on down the aisle.
Globalism, neoliberalism and mass entry of women into the workforce are the reasons real wages have frozen for the middle and lower classes since the 1970s. And the elites and their media tools have effectively used identity politics to divide the workers along non class identity lines so they have been distracted, unwilling and unable to unite and fight the elites from taking all the capital for themselves.
So much this. If you’re an adult and only making $11 an hour you’re a fuck up. Anyone with any drive whatsoever can learn a trade and be better off than this. Enough of the bleeding heart for people with zero ambition and painting the companies that give them jobs as the devil. If you don’t want your minimum wage job go develop a skill. Quit letting the Dems convince you it’s impossible.
Here is an extremely simplistic blueprint of how the divide and conquer works:
1. Elites promote massive immigration (legal and illegal) and entry of women into workforce to flood labor markets, to increase competition and depress wages. At the same time many blue collar jobs are moved overseas.
2. The sexual revolution, astronomical rise in single parent households, flooding of drugs into urban areas, decrease in taxes for the rich, and other liberalizing features make urban areas very dangerous and run down.
3. To escape it so their children can go to safe schools the (mostly white) middle class moves into suburban areas with super inflated real estate prices. The house a single unionized blue collar worker could afford in 1950 it now takes both parents working full time and significant borrowing to live in. Also, economic shifts make it necessary for middle class families to send their children to extremely expensive colleges just so their children can stay in the middle class. More borrowing is necessary.
4. All the while the country is being continually divided along culture war issues that pit worker against worker, so they are too distracted to unite and fight the capitalists stealing all the wealth. Rinse and repeat for a few generations and you see what we have here.
