Well, I guess I'll be "that guy" and start it off by admitting that...Google, you got me.
So, I'm sitting in the living room watching the game with my ex. Now, we've now literally known each other for 20 years come this June.
We were previously married for years but have been legally separated for the past few years. We've always been on more or less good friendly terms with each other despite the circumstances. I want to cautiously say that i feel we're making strides toward full reconciliation but only time will tell and as anything else in life, there are no guarantees.
Anyway, the past few weeks or so we've been bringing up lots of past stories of us over the years and having some good talks and laughs. We've also been recalling and trading memories of our parents as well as our son. We've been, like perhaps some of you other older folks here, coming to the stark realization that were not in our 20's or 30's anymore and time is flying by at warp speed. I think you get what I'm saying.
We were even talking about stuff earlier today over breakfast...
Watching the Superbowl, It was all fun and games as I was making wisecracks about several stupid and cheesy commercials during the game, and then this commercial comes on...
I completely lost it, and so did she.
Well played Google, well played
(Ftr, the person in this video is apparently an 85 year old grandfather of a Google employee.)
