Americans somehow slept on this song.

new years resolution is to go full shred
Happy New Year! I think I'm old now, so this is what we post. I'm fine with it.
Was gonna try to think of a bunch of Bryan Ferry to post, but I got lost while listening to it, and all of a sudden, we're already onto INXS. Tbh, I like this vibe better.
This one goes out to those mourning his loss. RIP shoeshine box.
PFA POY once
back in early 2000s, I was in a cover band, working in home theater and car stereo, and generally surrounded by music at all times, by trade and by choice. The overlap was always fun, like, I loved this song when I first heard it, I was given the album when I joined Tweeter because of the sound quality, and the lead singer of my new band wanted to play this song. We played it almost every show for 3 years. People loved it way more than we figured on. Hell, we opened with this song at The Roxy in the Alley first time we played there (out of 2).
I actually think this is an underrated song from Kenny Loggins, from the 1988 Caddyshack 2 soundtrack. It's mostly forgotten by this.
One of those songs you like to turn up when it comes on when you're driving on the highway in the middle of nowhere.
Incidentally, Caddyshack 2 itself was horrible. Somehow in 8 years, they forgot everything that was good/memorable about the first movie, and made an absolute crap sequel.
Harold Ramis said that it was a huge clusterfuck because the concept sucked to begin with, and then everything got worse once Rodney Dangerfield backed out, which caused a chain reaction of others backing out, and eventually Ramis himself quit. They hired some fail writers to take his place, and the whole thing ended up just a complete mess.
Was hoping to hear some Tweeter
