listen for crash cymbal in Johnny Carson
Couple months ago (maybe a year or 2?), I called Tony Bag a lot of things, essentially saying he was the dirt worst for supporting Trump. One reason it pissed me off that he supported Trump so much was because of his musical tastes. I thought he was betraying not only the people of America (not to mention Amorica), but his own fav artists as well as the values those artists express.
To say it straight, I couldn't believe a Black Crowes fan loved Trump as much as he seemed to.
But Tony wasn't a lost cause. Tony saw the light. Tony turned away from evil.
I always felt a bit bad about how hard I went at you, T. It was only because I cared.
Would still gladly have beers and/or bowls someday.
For as long as I'm awake tonite, this thread is now a cover song thread.
I've never once had long hair, but I've always been a long hair sympathizer. My scalp is too itchy for protest hair. That's why buzz it off during the summer.
Totally loved Tesla at the time and still knew this wasn't a Tesla song when I first heard it. Bradley Jay on BCN was the first place I heard it. If this were a Boston forum, I'd make a WBCN thread. Should do it anyway.
My Dylan and Beatles education came later in life than most.
Heard the Mule do this in the Orpheum in Boston, early 2000's. Probably didnt even know it was an Al Green song at the time.
Broken is as good as any NIN album. Better than most, actually.
Shout out to hidden tracks on CDs.
may as well make this a series of Trent posts. Karen O is a monster. I love everything about her.
The Deftones on a Cars classic. Better than half the songs in this shit thread, amirite les?
edit: this was gonna be next, but now its next anyway. Cornell does Sinead does Prince. All greats.

now that I'm sufficiently drunk and stoned, I don't feel bad about repeating myself. Tom Morello is GOD. Boots is above reproach. Mista Wizard has my undying thanks. One of my fav live covers in the last decade.
No way any version beats this
Nuts or not she owns this song
as jaw dropping as that latst performance I saw this performance live to tape if you will

Stay strong, Les.
