That Danish anonymity law is insane - are you sure its not because its in appeals? Maybe their law is you can only be named after all the appeal process has been exhausted?

That would have been epic to have been able to pull off and likely enhanced your reputation as a fair agent in the world once-famous-people disputes.

But while I’m making a post about this week’s show, I thought you might like this little language tip to help enhance your reputation among listeners overseas regarding the cosmopolitan nature of your knowledge base. You know, to not sound like a parochial undereducated American. Here it is...

Speakers of most Germanic languages, English being the odd exception, default to pronouncing the vowel “e” at the end of a word after a consonant as a ‘schwa’, which is the sound of the “e” commonly heard in English “the”. And the “e” at the end of Danish “krone” is subject to that pronunciation rule.
