The Bears new G.M. Phil Emery has made some very good moves. He traded a pair of third-round draft picks to Miami for Brandon Marshall. After starting 7-3 last year, the Bears backups were exposed. He signed ex-Raider's RB Michael Bush and QB Jason Campbell.

Resigned Lance Briggs and gave DE Idonije a one year contract. He also signed Matt Forte which is crucial to the Bears offense.

Emery used his first-round pick on Boise State end Shea McClellin. Then took Alshon Jeffery(South Carolina) in the 2nd round.

Defense: Getting a little old, but still could be in the leagues top 5 this year.

Offense: Mike Martz is gone and Mike Tice is in. No more 7-step "SUICIDE" drops. Hallelujah!!!!!! Cutler had to run for his life most of the time.

The offensive line is not the greatest but we should see more designed roll outs. Big WR targets in Marshall and Jeffery. Awesome all around back in Matt Forte.

Special Teams: HESTER need I say more...o.k Robbie Gold

    Prediction 11-5

Eagles. People have a lot of high expectations for us, but the city knows better. If Vick gets hurt were fucked. He's only played one sixteen game season in his NFL career. Our backup has 17 career passes.

The over under on wins is 10.5. I'd take the under at 10. I'd love it if we won twelve though.

Vikings fan, unfortunately. With a lifetime of generally decent teams who eventually LOLfail at some point, it hasn't been that hard to watch these last two losing seasons.

I will say that we were probably the "best" 3-13 team ever last year. Statistically we played to about 6-10 ball, but had a lot of bad breaks late in games. I think only 4 of the 13 losses were by 8 points or more. Of course in typical Viking fashion, they had to go win their 2nd to last game of the year to knock themselves out of the Suck for Luck race, but we still landed the best LT prospect to come out in a couple years and added a day 1 starter at S at the tail end of the first round, which were our two biggest needs.

I liked how Ponder looked last year, and if AD can recover fully the offense should be at least on par with last year, where we were middle of the pack in pts scored and towards the top in rushing yards. The passing defense is our biggest weakness, probably one of the worst units in all of the NFL last year, meaning any team/any positional unit. Injuries and arrests played a part, but holy shit...we led the league in sacks and teams still threw all over us.

If teams in the NFC north all stay healthy, it could be a scary good division, especially playing against the AFC South and the NFC West. Could wind up being the 4 teams going:
    11-5
    11-5
    10-6
    8-8

or something similar. I'd like to hope the Vikes aren't the last place team, but 8-8 would be a decent step.

Ponder actually impressed me last year and the NFC "NORRIS" Division could wind up going:
    11-5
    11-5
    10-6
    8-8

    This actually

Niners the Super Bowl, ship it.
Also a Vikes fan and folks, it can't really get worse than last year. I think they will do better this year, 8-8 would be nice because it would show some growth.

The Niners lost at home in the NFC Title Game.... wait...... fuck me the Bears lost an NFC title game too at home recently.

I like their draft and losing in overtime to the Giants was pretty awful. Kyle Williams had 2 critical fumbles in that title game.

Gb returns the whole offense and gets better on defense through the draft and free agency and goes 11-5. No chance of that unless Rodgers gets hurt.

The best tweet I saw during the draft was when Chicago took wr Alshon Jeffrey in the 2nd. Someone said well at least hes big enough for Cutler to see from his earhole on his back. Not sure how they could ignore that horrible line in the draft. I would knock Lovies son Michael, but he hasnt been at the casino in a while with one of his hot white bitches.

The Eagles scare me this year. I thought they nailed the draft, and they were loaded before that. They can give GB a run if Vick stays healthy. Theres so many good teams in the NFC.

well, 15-1 is a very fluky record (as evidenced by losing in their first playoff game, at home), and you can never expect that to happen the next season. Their pythagorean w/l was 12-4. They were lucky to almost the same degree the Vikings were unlucky.

Have to decide on QB this year. Any year over .500 is a great year.

The best part about the NFL is the parody of it all. They say five different teams usually make the playoffs that didn't the previous year. Who would be your five that you think have a shot this year, that didn't last year? Mine are as follows:

    Carolina Panthers
    Philadelphia Eagles
    Buffalo Bills
    Kansas City Chiefs
    Arizona Cardinals
