Music Thread: Great Songs That Were Never Released As A Single

There's no disappointing, very mediocre, Walking Dead episode to fill up my Sunday evening so I thought I'd start a similar thread from ones I've seen on Reddit.

This thread is for songs from popular albums, that were otherwise overlooked, and never released as a single. (or if they were released, it was with very limited fanfare)

From one of the best selling albums ever: Drain You - Nirvana, Nevermind

Kitchenware & Candy Bars - Stone Temple Pilots, Purple

Don't Forget Me - RHCP, By The Way (GREAT live version, Frusciante is GOD, don't /thread)

Anyone else wanna jump in before Limitles gets released and shit posts this thread to death?

    Interesting thread.

I used to wonder about this back in the '80s when some of the albums I bought had songs I liked, yet they never made it onto the radio. I wondered how many other good songs were out there by other artists, which might have been hits if given airplay.

Here's one I remember from 1982. I bought Huey Lewis' "Picture This" album two years after it came out, after getting his popular "Sports" album (1983) and liking it a lot.

From "Picture This", I really liked the song called "The Only One", yet it never received airplay, and few people know it.

The song was about a guy Huey went to high school with, who was popular and seemed to be going places, but then couldn't hack it in adulthood, developed a drinking problem, and died while wandering drunk onto the highway.

Zap_the_Fractions_Giraffe: world beat was a staple on 90's toy keyboards though
