Brief statement regarding the controversies today

This is a bad day for all hell to break loose, as I have very little time to spend on the net today, and in fact won't have much time in the coming 2 weeks.

I have read some of what has gone on, and I agree that there needs to be a few additional rules here, most specifically about making false or unsubstantiated accusations against people. Also, I am going to start enforcing the "troll just to troll" rule more.

This forum has gone well over its 5-month life, but days like this were bound to happen as part of the growing process. I will be making more statements on this matter later. Please be patient in the meantime.

I think a simple rule like this would help a lot. Druff could be the judge on the proof. In these cases, 99 percent of time it is obvious what is true and what isnt.

The whole Slim T was retarded and was an asshole thing to put Brandon through imo. If the rule above was applied Slim T would have been banned quickly and the whole issue would have died a quick death.

It appears that you removed the post restrictions you put on the perma-troll scammer. He has done nothing but troll since. If you don't want to ban the trolls at least post restrict them permanently. 5-10 posts from them a day is enough and will at least stop them from completely fagging up the forum. No dupes allowed for post restricted trolls either.

edit: please disallow the trolls from sending PM's too.
