I don't know about Stones but a lot of these live streams the commentators are seeing the action and commentating on a delay as well (15 to 30 minutes on average) so the question is who internally is helping him?

You can make some great bets or calls based on opponents but it only goes so far and you're bound to be wrong in huge pots stationing off, or having your bluff picked off. It don't matter how elite of a player you are nobody is this spot on so much.

If he's rarely playing non-broadcasted games or playing lower stakes as mentioned then that is very telling too.

I'm not in the mood to look at this but their is a website link below that I found from a quick search that sells various cheating devices so if anyone wants to look on there to come up with possibilities as to what he could be doing then here:

    https://www.cardslenses.com/

The buzzer on the leg/ankle thing mentioned seems like a strong possibility.

It's better than that. It's also more obvious if someone tells you what to watch for.

Also, live video, even if played back for spectators after 10 or 15 minutes, exists as as a live stream in real time. If you were ever involved with the production, you had a chance to add your own rogue injector making it possible to make it live to you.

It's obvious he's getting the info about what he's up again in real time.

He's also known as a cheater in table games which has lead to him being banned from one of the biggest casino operators in the country ALONG with being a player caught going north on camera! Total scumbag that shouldn't be allowed in poker room or casino anywhere.

He should not be allowed to have a cell phone at the table. This may have to be a rule for all live RFID cash streams going forward, if not tourney too (although I wonder if the transmission can still be made, say with a smart watch).

I will also add: this guy in these suspect hands...he's kinda a shitty actor. Like, it's almost comical as if he's trying to get caught

Stones actually has the... er... stones to have another livestream tonight, as if nothing happened.

Oh, but they did an "investigation", and cleared it all, so everything's good, right?

    Unbelievable.

    From Joey Ingram:

Mike's 2018 results found so far on stream
    +$93.2k
    21 sessions
    2 losing

    $1/3
    +$36.12k
    52 hrs
    13 sessions
    0 losing

    $5/5
    +$56.8k
    64 hours
    16 sessions
    1 losing

    $5/5/10
    8 hrs
    +$300
    2 sessions

This is just 2018, not 2019 when most of the hands we saw took place.

Pretty horrible look for Stones at this point.

They're still running the stream (right at this moment, as I speak), as if nothing happened.

They have not at all been transparent about their "investigation".

And then there was this horrible tweet from the director of Stones Live:

Commentator Vanessa Kade at a Stones Poker Room live stream featuring The Talented Mr. Postle:

"It is unbelieveable the hands that Mike hits. Like it's absolutely incredible. I mean Unreal. Unreal.
Like I swear he ends up with the winning hand maybe about 80% of the hands.
The times he doesn't actually end up with the the winning hand he actually successfully bluffs. Like it's unreal"

Yes, you were right Vanessa. It's not REAL. Not REAL poker. No one capable of this. That's just a guy who knows exactly what his opponents have. He's only remarkable in his willingness to cheat a smallish poker game.

I don't fault Vanessa for not seeing this, I would not suspect it either. It is human nature to suspect next-to-Godliness as a more apt explanation vs. cheating because it's less messy that way and we like thinking someone can be on another level.

At this point, I really have to wonder what's going on with the staff at Stones Live Poker.

Were some of them in on it?

Are they just trying to protect the brand?

Are they just stupid or in denial?

    It's one of these three.

How could they have watched this type of thing week after week and not suspected anything?

In the meantime, after posting laughable "proof" that he was playing honestly (such as making a river hero call for $40 and losing, lol), Mike Postle has gone silent.

I think we won't hear from him for a long time. He will probably stop tweeting, and won't show his face at any poker rooms for awhile.

Sadly, I don't see a path to proving this in a court of law, unless someone cops to something.

if veronica is the one who called him out for cheating good for her and sad for the management of stones.

but for the most part i blocked her on twitter a couple years ago because i got so offended by her beliefs. i feel the same way about the beliefs of almost all women in the poker community due to them all being SJW warriors who hate white guys. This is why i admire Tulsi so much, she accepts EVERYONE and not just those who believe and vote like she does, which is so different from other democrats.

the last straw which pissed me off right before i blocked her was her pro satanist tweets. it really offended my religious sensibilities and the sensibilities of millions of others

I don't agree with Veronica's politics, but I like her from what I know about her.

And she was a big hero in this situation

They are running the game right now and have Mike's brother playing on the stream.

    No shame.

lets say 40 hands per hour which is probably way too many (but it's conservative) so that breaks down like this:
    $694/hour
    232 BB/hour
    17.3BB/100

    $5/5
    +$56.8k
    64 hours
    16 sessions
    1 losing

    $888/hour
    178BB/hour
    22.2BB/100

I totally understand sample sizes and shit getting dislocated in the short run, but i don't think that making $36K in 1/3 in that amount of time would even register as a statistical probability even on the tail end of a distribution (ie it would be > trillion:1 shot)...love for somebody who is really good at stats try to figure out how likely that is...

    No shame.

Yeah, that's really bad, like, a slap in the face of the public (players and viewers alike).

    F Stones.

Here's an interesting/weird video where Mike Postle (who is obviously somehow entrenched in the poker department as a consultant etc. at Stones) is wedged, (thats him hat-less), between Justin Kelly and McEachern with an obvious green light to pump up demand for a new hybrid tourney/cash game he's been scheming, er, dreaming of.

Notice he describes that there's a number of twists --- one of which is that certain hands that only the televison/streaming audience (cough cough) knows are happening are the "elimination hands" after which the player with the least amount of chips is gone from the tourney. Along with that nugget, Postle's completely benign brainchild included trying to get 7-2 introduced as a trump hand.

Isn't it just so strange that these two features would be perfect for someone who could see the streams while simultaneously playing? Such a person would look unbelievable in their "prescient" moves and more than likely reach the final table over and over.

A very nice way to satelite into a "real life tourney" for free...er, almost free. Since those real life tourneys without knowing your opponent's cards tend to be hard.

Stones actually ran this tournament at least once. I don't know if Postle played.

ChicagoJoey fanboy mentality of wanting Postle not to be cheating makes these streams he's doing very hard to tolerate.

Go to 1:30 of this video of this cash game. Mike has 54 off and calls all in of 2 all ins preflops (large stacks with AK) and he calls......nobody does that.... unless they know they are a favorite at 42% to win.

This hand tells me has more then a buzzer on his leg.
I don't know a single winning player that doesn't insta-fold in this spot. Even a fish would fold here.
He simply can't win playing like this. He would be getting stacked and making misteps constantly.

I'm guessing he's intercepting the raw RFID data. It would be transmitted wirelessly to the comentary box. Probably has a cohort nearby who's disseminating the data and sending it to his mobile phone. I think this is more probable then someone in the commentary box doing it.

His preflop game is kinda weak too. And this is exactly how you'd play if you knew your opponents cards.
