Reported per TMZ his wife announced Sid passed away on Saturday after complications from an accident at home which had left him in the ICU for last few weeks. His health had been in decline awhile and was the reason for massive delays in Rob Zombies third of the House of 1000 corpses trilogy as Zombie had kept hoping Haigs health would improve but never did necessitating major script rewrites for “3 from Hell”. Best known as Capt Spaulding in several horror movies. His acting credits included a myriad of older tv shows including the 6 million dollar man, Gunsmoke, and Get Smart. He was 80 years old.
