In typical form on my table first hand had an all in and two calls. Two top pairs and a flush draw. Top pair held up.
Next hand I call a raise w 33. Flop trips. Guy calls my all in w top pair.
Serrel mittzie. Some pro is here and someone named Alex who won a WSOP bracelet. Then some real rich guy jeweler named Allen who is always playing high limit.
I’m sure u pros would recognize.
Is Mike Matusow wandering around on his rascal looking for stakes . Maybe holding Helmuth's coffee .
Thought this thread would do better. Pretty weird. Nobody is impressed by degening anymore it seems.
p.s- the Alex guy was Alex Epstein aka Thallo, winner of this years 10k Short Deck event and fellow super degen.

Hellmuth was the emcee of the 07 Aruba UB event and he was super obnoxious. He basically appointed himself into this position when he busted from the tourney early.
He basically walked around with a mic and was needling and trolling everyone, including people who busted with bad beats or coolers, who weren't in the mood to be needled. Keep in mind thiat was like a $6k tournament, so it's no joke to bust on a beat or a cooler, especially deep.
I was sitting short for an eternity because I couldn't win any real hands, but I was playing with a ton of fish (seriously, this was a great tournament, since most were online satellite qualifiers, back in the day when those players were mostly terrible), so I was able to just aggro my way into remaining with chips. One of the guys at the table called me "the short big stack" since I was semi-short yet playing aggressively like a big stack.
Anyway, we were like 8 from the money when a 76-year-old guy to my left -- who seriously looked and acted about 90 -- had flatted me from the SB. I had A5o on the button, raised, he flatted, and flop came Q55. We got it in (I even had a decent stack at this point) and I was finally about to have a good stack and pictured myself owning these fish hard and making the final table. He turned over K5o. Turn K.
I remember running out of there fast so Hellmuth didn't see, because being needled at that point is the last thing I would have wanted. I would have totally lost it.
How has Hellmuth been at this one?
Twice helmuth sang some black and yellow song over the microphone to/towards dwan that I only recognized bc it is part of an old parody video I recall in some threads around here.
Funny for Hellmuth to be singing it, given his history with UB (even if he was singing the original, which he probably was).
You only occasionally hint at your action, Tellafriend.
I piece together enough to be entertained. Respect.
Play safe goombah.

I'm not sure what Phil Hellmuth Jr gets for hosting these phony charity poker tournaments but it's far more money than the charity gets.
Hellmuth charges $30K to $40K or more to host phony charity poker tourneys.
