See if there is a location near you.

    Or

Look for a Bitcoin ATM near you.

The fees aren’t great 7-10%. It’s life in the streets. Chaulk it up to education

You will need a wallet also in either case. Something simple like Bread could work. It’s an app you download.

    I’m in Massachusetts

You can’t throw a rock without hitting an ATM, a mobile phone store dealing Bitcoin, meetups etc etc

I would recommend a mobile phone store with a young kid. You will encounter a lot of outlets that are selling but have less of a clue than you. Just sayin.

You will also possibly make a contact who knows some really useful shit or deals out of his own account. I have been lucky to meet some wheeler dealers. I can cash in and out cheap.

Divide the Bitcoin acquisition and the online gambling into two separate adventures.

The Bitcoin thing is puzzle to be solved the first time out. Little bit of stress. Did my money just disappear into thin air? Enjoy that separately. Take your time.

I have a clear recollection that when I finally got my dough online I was so anxious by that point that I was a spewtard. Rinse repeat.

When you finally get the money on ignition shut it down and wait a day.

Use Zelle on localbitcoins.com. I would say use Coinbase but you can't use BOA on there. Good Luck

I would say download the cashapp and link it up but that takes time to verify and even though they offer BTC they will cut you off if you buy a few times in a night giving you no reason just saying you broke TOS so any company willing to do that can go fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

Fastest way is probably an btc atm or localbitcoins but you will pay a bigger vig using those methods.

Coinstar now has some of their machines where you can buy BTC with cash at those machines.

    Yes yes

Coinstar had a machine (in the supermarket) that processed your spare change. Kicked out a slip that you redeemed at Customer Service for fiat.

I used it once. I recall a brutal hold. Something like 9%.

Well, they modified their existing machines to offer Bitcoin. The fee must be breathtaking.

It is located behind the registers and every single customer passes this machine on their way out the door. That deserves props too.

So the homeless & small children with their piggy banks are being served by crypto market too

We have lifeguards at our business. Every hour they get a 15 min break ... it’s a code thing. After closing, I walk by the picnic table where they hang out at and there are nickels, dimes and quarters on the table or on the ground underneath.

Millions of kids and parents pass the table all day. No one bothers

Hey, look at the old guy on his knees picking up the spare change.

I’m talking about the business with one of the high school kids one day. Sometimes being a cheap fuck is just good business. So I use the expression “I’m a child of the depression” to explain a decision.

Kid looks at me and says, “you look good for your age”.

    Thx
