    Just kidding.

    It's a gopher snake.

    But that's my driveway.

Tons of snakes where I live, especially this year.

Did you take this pic yourself, or use your drone to get that close?

More importantly what kind of snake is this. I believe it might be the elusive trouser snake or potentially a similar subtype that one might find with OSA 🤔😂

Good spot to share this. My neighborhood is up against some pretty sketchy desert and a buddy down the street relocates rattlesnakes when they get in peoples yards. We have Mojaves, Sidewinders and most common would be Diamondbacks.

Last summer he got a call to relocate a good sized diamondback after a monsoon in someones backyard. He was home and got there in under 10 minutes but not before the kingsnake snuffed it out and dispatched it himself. Swallowed the sonofabitch whole and moved on.

Some savage shit out here. You think of rattlesnakes being the king out here but several other critters will happily eat them. Most surpisingly is Roadrunners, they bait them into striking, grab their heads and bash their brains in off the rocks.

    Aint easy being a rattlesnake apparently.Name: 20190730_202146.jpg

Wow it's hard to tell what's eating what but how true what you said about nature is how ruthless it is.

Just talked to a bee keeper today and she said one of their biggest risks, despite mites, are wasps.

    They just attack

Kingsnake def has him all bound up. You can tell from his stretched out neck and look in the rattlesnakes eyes he is fucked. I think kingsnake has him just below the head. Can confirm he swallowed him whole. Will see if I can get pic of that.

Crazy thing is neither the kingsnake or roadrunners have much of an immunity to rattlesnake venom. Better than us for sure..but they take shots.

Well, it's now been about 2 days, and Im not sure at this point if I'm more perplexed or just plain concerned as to how our resident snake expert hasn't checked in yet.

Garrett, If you are out there, please give us a sign to let us know you're ok! The professional snake community truly misses you! Come back to us Garrett!

I binge watch nature shows while I work. It helps me understand why some base people act the way they do.

The question likely comes down to did he end up wearing that green smock again beating up a family member or worse he confronted that new pedo B/F of his ex-gf and got murdered and dumped in some Florida swampland and fed to the gators.

I’m not sure you used “worse” correctly.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

I’d replace worse with better yet.
