Canadian teens on serial killing spree

Two Canadian teens, Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, are traveling across Canada killing people.

The spree started on July 12, and they have currently made their way from Port Alberni, BC to somewhere in northern Manitoba, possibly farther east.

It is not clear why they are doing this, though both are said to be somewhat obsessed with Nazis.

Bryer's dad said that he was very negatively affected by his divorce from Bryer's mother in 2005, but Bryer would have been just 4 then, so I'm not sure if that's really true.

They first killed a 64-year-old man named Leonard Dyck:




Next, they killed a young couple on a road trip in northern BC:



Lucas Fowler and Chynna Deese, 24 and 23, were murdered in a remote area of northeast BC.


The boys have made it to Manitoba and switched cars at least once. They haven't killed anyone outside of BC... at least that anyone knows of yet.

Bryer's father believes that this is a suicide mission, and that the boys will keep killing until shot dead by police.

It's not common for polar bears to hinder a manhunt for serial killers. That's what's funny about it.

One interesting possibility, though, is that the boys will die while escaping in the wilderness, and never be found. They are not survivalists. They are two teens with seemingly limited experience in such environments. For example, if they make it many miles off the highway and eventually get attacked and killed by a bear, they will never be found, and will likely be a mystery forever (or for a very long time).
