To put this in perspective, it’s currently cooler in West Palm Beach, FL right now.

In his defense, the humid mid-90s on the east coast is awful.

Went to NYC in August 2002 and every day was like 95 and super humid, and it felt far worse than Las Vegas when it's 113 and dry.

That trip made me swear off traveling anywhere in the country that's hot and humid during the summer months.

Going to be a super active Hurricane season come mid-August. GOM and Atlantic are boiling. Looks like I will be busy, saving lives again.

95 degrees and 90% humidity (what Indiana gets to during the summer months) will often feel like 110 degrees+. You can take a shower, dry off completely, step outside and within 5 minutes feel like you just got out of the shower again with you clothes on from the sweat.

The humidity in the Midwest was the most determining factor on my move to Las Vegas believe it or not.

Try waiting underground for a train to come and then squeeze into a car and have to stand with a bunch of sweaty people. Thankfully, I dont have to do this but I feel for the poor souls that have to do this on a daily basis.

    and

I’m getting the London Underground regularly these days and it’s horrific on hot days, city heat and humidity is the worst. By contrasts even when I was nearly 400 pounds the dry Vegas heat didn’t bother me. I may be visiting Niger next month and that should be Ok too even though will be in the 90s. Yes, Niger. I might do a separate thread for that, or you can just put the jokes here.

    Oh please You’re LA.

A good measure of comfort would be your air conditioner run time. I’m going to assume both houses have a properly sized installation.

We will assume all run times are equal regardless of House size

Too big a unit you freeze up coils and never remove humidity . Too small a unit you’ll go broke running endlessly.

I’ll go heads up for rolls on IOT thermostat reports past 7 days or last month.

I gotta be the dog here cause you love coupons and I’m east coast, right?

Isnt 150$ enough to fund 3 days easy for a trucker on the road? Where in YORK PA was so luxe that you felt the need to splurge?

Courtyard by Marriot. I probably overpaid because it was last minute, but they were super empty and the desk clerk gave me the AAA rate.

Also, I had to wait 20 hours for my next load, and gamble correctly that their Internet was faster than what I’d be able to find at a nearby coffer shop, which I’d have to schlep to and back to my truck in the friggin heat. It was well worth it.

I bet OSA didn't wait 20 hours for his next load.

Jew tip: you can probably get even better than the AAA rate by just telling them "you're empty, here's what I'll pay, if not I'll go down the road."

Now in the Midwest. It’s hot here, also, but not as bad as PA yesterday.

News flash, it's hot and humid in the summer, everyone on notice, hot... and humid, during summer months.

Perhaps each year it is both hot and humid we could remind everyone it is both hot and humid... in summer months, over.
