Great deal for the blazers, especially not having to include a pick. Whiteside will hold down the 5 while Nurk recovers, and if said recovery happens at a normal timescale, Hassan could also be a great expiring trade chip at the next deadline.
Time to let the kids play. That Aminu-Harkless-Turner wing core hit its peak this season, there was no more upside there. Time for Collins-Simons-Little-Layman to play (and Bazemore, loved that trade also). Oh and Hood of course.
Dame-CJ-Whiteside-and 2 of Hood/Bazemore/Collins should be a decent enough starting/crunch time 5 to get to 50ish wins again.
