I even read the tweets. He says cops reviewed footage and say that he was followed out of the Rio. I don't know.. so much foot traffic coming in and out of the Rio, how could they have figured it out. I guess they see a guy on camera get in a car after following backpacker out, then car drives over to backpacker where someone pops out with a gun. Hrmmmm.. weird way to be robbed IMO.

They are usually robbed at the Rio by Rio employees.
How does getting robbed mean he avoids having to pay people back though? If someone owes me $1000 and they get robbed, they can't say "Sorry, man, the thief took your $1000", can they?
