I have one every day. It’s hard to keep the proper ripeness available daily. So I was struggling with a slightly underripe one today and voila flipped it over and peeled it from the other end easily. I will peel bananas from opposite end from this day forward.

re: problem with bananas too green - when you buy bananas, try to buy a few small bunches with a mix of ripeness rather than just one big bunch of uniform ripeness

Despite the discoloration in the outer skin, the banana fruit itself will be pretty much perfect in color and taste a lot !onger than non-plastic covered stemmed bananas.

Next time that you have bananas that are overripe, use them to make banana bread, as their strong flavor makes for great BB.
